Hear about SandPeople

Hi, everyone, it’s a dark, chilly Saturday and I’m posting the second SandPeople interview I did over the last weeks for SandPeople.

On Tuesday, October 13, I did an hour interview with Karen Vaughn on her show, Writers’ Round Table onĀ  BlogTalk Radio. Karen is from Canada and we had a lot of fun. She’s a wonderful host and we talked about where our writing comes from. For me, it is the odd little things that don’t fit that start me imagining how those came to be in my path that very instance.

For SandPeople, that was a random conversation I had with a librarian while I was researching sunken ships. I had read an account of ghosts and she told me there are so many sightings of sails and shades that you come to accept it must sometimes be possible. I had read about the hurricane of 1900 which devastated Galveston and my curiosity was sparked. If there were a place for ghosts, it seemed to me those stretches of beach were walked by some ghosts.

Here is the link for Karen’s show.

Enjoy!
